From the dawn of time human beings have seen themselves as the rulers of nature. Human beings conquered the wilderness and has made a new habitat for themselves and in doing so are destroying the very thing that will ensure our long term survival: Nature. For so long we have stood by as outsiders and watched the balance of nature, but it seems that like with everything on earth we are also just a cog in the machine. The real question is though, have we broken the machine or are we doing exactly what we were born to do?

Lately everyone and their grandmas know about climate change. It is well known (and I’m no expert on this field) that through the normal dealings of humans we are fecking up the earth. Some may deny it but we all know it deep down. We can feel it. We know we are heading for a cliff.

LETS say the above statement is true. Is there still anything that we can do about it? Or is the drive towards electric vehicles and green energy just another way big companies and politicians are feeding off our fear and insecurities?

The way I see it is that despite the warnings about the destruction of the earth the human race would instinctively continue on the current path and like the comet that ushered in the time of man, humans will wipe the slate of the earth clean for what is to come. What that is no one knows and we can only guess.

Are we heading for an age of artificially altered humans, or maybe we are taking turns with the dinos. Who knows.

Personally, I’m continuing with what I think is ethically correct and no politician is going to tell or force me to think otherwise.

Unfortunately though, as the human body is destined for a single truth – despite futile remedies and a good lifestyle – we will eventually fail to beat the grim reaper and so shall we as humans face the same inevitable end as nature.

Cheer up. You will likely not live to see it.
