The presumption of innocence—a pillar of justice—is a fragile concept, especially for men accused of rape. Once accused, a man’s life can crumble overnight, his reputation incinerated, his relationships shattered, his career obliterated. And the saddest part? Even if proven innocent, the stigma remains. A man acquitted of rape charges often carries a permanent, invisible scar that whispers “what if?” in the minds of others.

Continue readingThe news is everywhere, designed to draw us in, but over time I’ve come to see that reading it doesn’t just waste time—it harms our mental health and our sense of agency. Beyond that, it’s practically useless for the average citizen. Despite what media companies would like us to believe, staying informed about every headline isn’t a productive, empowering habit. In fact, it’s a trap that keeps us feeling anxious, stressed, and, ultimately, powerless.(Doomscrolling)
Continue readingImagine waking up each day feeling like a shadow in a world flooded with light. People move around you, smile, laugh, and connect, yet somehow, you remain on the outside, floating in a kind of darkness. Depression feels like a weight pressing down, something unseen but powerful, robbing every breath of joy, making even simple tasks seem monumental. Loneliness isn’t just the absence of others; it’s the sharp ache of invisibility, the heavy realization that even surrounded by people, you might never be truly known. It’s a quiet despair, an emptiness that seeps into everything, making life feel more like endurance than living.

It took me 30 years to discover what happiness is. For me it was a Saturday morning waking up from a bender and having to put my life back together.
I grew up idealizing heroes. Characters like Rambo, Aragon and Batman were all fighting a battle for some form of an end goal. Some noble purpose. I dreamt of adventure and wished I was born in a different generation, where I could have been fighting on a far away battlefield in Europe for the sake of humanity’s freedom or live free from life’s expectations somewhere in the wild west.
Continue readingThere was a time not so long ago where the roles in a household were clearly defined and everything felt in place. Where a man with a blue-collar job can go to work and come home to a generously sized family home and where a nurturing mother can stay at home with her children without having to worry about making ends meet. Men had the capability to provide.
Fast forward to 2024. Mom and dad has to work to afford a decent rental apartment. Poor old junior has to go to daycare barely an infant in months. Our children get raised by strangers while daddy feels like he is not providing and poor old mommy has to go on Prozac because her babe was stripped from her bosom.
Continue readingFrom the dawn of time human beings have seen themselves as the rulers of nature. Human beings conquered the wilderness and has made a new habitat for themselves and in doing so are destroying the very thing that will ensure our long term survival: Nature. For so long we have stood by as outsiders and watched the balance of nature, but it seems that like with everything on earth we are also just a cog in the machine. The real question is though, have we broken the machine or are we doing exactly what we were born to do?
Lately everyone and their grandmas know about climate change. It is well known (and I’m no expert on this field) that through the normal dealings of humans we are fecking up the earth. Some may deny it but we all know it deep down. We can feel it. We know we are heading for a cliff.
LETS say the above statement is true. Is there still anything that we can do about it? Or is the drive towards electric vehicles and green energy just another way big companies and politicians are feeding off our fear and insecurities?
